1880 Society

What is the 1880 Society?

Named for the year USC College was established at the university, the 1880 Society is a community of alumni, parents and friends who believe in the mission of the College. Through their generosity and support, members of the 1880 Society help the College reach even higher levels of excellence in undergraduate education, graduate training and outstanding research and scholarship.

How will my gift impact the College?

One of the greatest priorities of the College is to enrich the educational experience by providing numerous opportunities for students to pursue independent study, graduate level research and other activities that stretch tradtional learning boundaries.

How do I become a member?

Joining the 1880 Society is easy!  Simply choose the membership level that is right for you.

Membership Levels

  • Dean's - $25,000 pledge (payable within five years)
  • Annual - $2,500 per year
  • Young Alumni - $1,500 per year (age 35 and under)

What are the benefits of membership?

As an expression of gratitude, the 1880 Society offers members special privileges reserved exclusively for USC College supporters.

  • Personalized assistance with USC-related questions and requests
  • A subscription to USC College magazine
  • Invitations to member-only events
  • Complimentary campus parking and preferential seating at commencement (Dean's level)
