Friday Social on the Roof
A casual weekly gathering of graduate students, postdocs, and faculty from several departments on the roof of AHF. This gathering is co-sponsored by graduate students from the MEB and Earth Science departments and is meant as a way for people from those departments, as well as from any other department on campus, to meet one another in a lighthearted setting.

Current Science Club
A biweekly meeting of graduate students from the MEB
department to discuss current topics in science. We mainly focus on
reviewing recent journal articles, informing each other of upcoming proposal
deadlines, conferences, etc., and discussing any questions we have about anything job/science related.
