Graduate Programs
Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Neurobiology Option (BNRO)
The section of Neurobiology offers students who are interested in working with Neurobiology faculty a course of graduate study leading to a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences. Prospective students are encouraged to contact faculty members in the section directly, but should apply to either of two university wide interdisciplinary graduate programs at USC: the Neuroscience Graduate program or the Program in Biomedical and Biological Science (see below).
University-Wide Graduate Programs
Neuroscience Graduate Program. The Neuroscience graduate program provides broad training in all areas of Neuroscience, including Behavioral, Systems, & Cognitive Neuroscience, Cellular & Molecular Neurobiology, Development, Plasticity & Repair, Computational Neuroscience & Neural Engineering, Aging, Neurobiology of Disease, & Translational Research.
Program in Biomedical & Biological Sciences (PIBBS). PIBBS offers a broad training in the biomedical and biological sciences, tailored to the needs of the student, and serves as an entryway into 15 Ph.D. programs at USC, including BNRO.
