| Professor Knoll's research has two primary focuses: the Medieval and Renaissance periods in European history, and the history and civilization of the western Slavs (particularly the Poles) and of the Hungarians in these periods. He has dedicated much of his time to exploring the political and intellectual history, especially the history of universities, with specific attention given to the Medieval and Renaissance University of Kraków. | |
