- Refined the undergraduate and graduate curriculum and strengthened leadership in emerging fields of study
- Launched the Tradition & Innovation initiative, which has brought in nearly $200 million to date

- Completed the construction of two new, cutting-edge research buildings, the Dornsife Cognitive Neuroscience
Imaging Center and the Molecular and Computational Biology Building
- Forged partnerships with nine other USC schools and seven museums and cultural institutions outside USC, leading
to the establishment of new institutes and centers
- Enhanced the Colleges financial well-being, upping College fund-raising from an average of $18 million per year
to $40 million in 2005, and leaving substantial cash reserves that will allow continued growth
- Strengthened USCs community bonds through support of the Joint Educational Project, involvement with Hebrew Union
College, and the creation of the USC Institute for Armenian Studies and the USC Korean Studies Institute
