Wrigley dedicates new housing on Catalina Island

The USC Philip K. Wrigley Marine Science Center on Catalina Island recently received a 100-percent boost in housing for faculty, visitors and students who go to the island to conduct research. On hand for the dedication of the new property were donors George and Mary Lou Boone, Robert and Elizabeth Plumleigh, Vicki Rogers and Delta S. Murphy of the Rose Hills Foundation, and three Wrigley cousins—Philip Hagenah, Paxson H. “Packy” Offield and Alison Wrigley Rusack. The housing includes Boone House, Plumleigh House and the Rose Hills Foundation House. Edison International Plaza also was dedicated. Richard M. Rosenblum, of Southern California Edison and a member of the Wrigley Advisory Board, represented Edison International. Jim Rollans represented Flour Corporation.
