Funding Opportunities
In addition to a limited number of assistantships, EASC provides two types of fellowships, the Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowships (FLAS) and the Association for Japan-U.S. Community Exchange (ACE) Nikaido Fellowships. FLAS is primarily intended to assist students as they strengthen their Chinese, Japanese, or Korean language skills and provides tuition assistance, as well as a living stipend. ACE provides stipend awards up to $5000 to USC graduate students engaged in U.S.-Japan studies. For more information, click on the links above.
