"Lively Italian music performed by the genuine article
Micrologus play a wide variety of unusual music on a wide variety of unusual instruments: psaltery, fiddle, rebec, bagpipes, shawm, ney, nakers, braying harps, chitarrino, tamburello. Fronted by the enormously charismatic and passionate singer, Patrizia Bovi, this concert will inspire emotions from sweet melancholy to rapturous joy and inevitably leave you wanting more.
Perfect vocal blend lends power to a cappella numbers while rhythmic drive and technical know-how bring an exciting force to instrumentals. Earthy, Mediterranean emotion will infuse the whole concert.
Featuring music from 14th century Italy, expect to hear relatively unknown repertoire alongside medieval smash hits!"
