Biographical Sketch

Dr. Silverton's is conducting longitudinal and adotion studies concerning the etiology of schizophrenia, suicide and related disorders. She was the recipient of the The American Foundation for the Prevention of Suicide's Young Investigator Award. Her research characterizes the interaction of genetic and environmental influences in shaping mental illness.
