Description of Research

Summary Statement of Research Interests

My research interest is centered toward the development of neuropsychological markers to predict and monitor treatment for substance dependence. Recent work is focused on the effects of smoking regular or denicotinized cigarettes on selective attention and associated brain function after overnight abstinence (Principle Investigator: E. D. London, Laboratory of Molecular Neuroimaging).

Research Keywords

Addiction, substance abuse, Cognition, event-related brain potential (ERP), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI)
