Majors must do all the reading in German for those courses taught in English.

 

Division Major Requirements

For the upper division, nine courses, five of which must be in the Department of German and which must include 320 and 325, are required.

 

Teaching Major Requirements

Twelve lower division units are required. For the upper division, eight courses are required, including 320, 325, 410, 420 and 470, and one course in the structure of the German language.
