A Global College

Diversity in all aspects of its organization, academic programs, faculty, research and students highlights the commitment of the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences to globalization. As its core mission, USC College prepares students for world citizenship and leadership through increasing awareness, understanding and appreciation of cultural differences. This begins in Los Angeles, where USC enrolls more international students than any other institution of higher education in America.

As the academic home of international relations, linguistics, languages and cultures at USC, the College offers opportunities to develop and refine global awareness among its students through eighty majors and fifty minors, study abroad opportunities in fifty-one programs in twenty-nine countries, and internationally themed curricula in the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.
