About the New Master's in Human Behavior Program
The College of Letters, Arts & Sciences is now offering an accelerated master's degree program unlike that of any other leading research university. The MHB program is designed to prepare students for entry into commercial and public sector fields for which knowledge of human behavior is essential for effective job performance. Advertising, entertainment, public relations, marketing, human resources, and government advocacy are just a few examples of industries actively seeking employees with expertise in human behavior, and with training in how it can be applied.
The program consists of coursework of a primarily practical nature, focusing on subject matter that is especially relevant to the industrial-organizational environment. Talks by prominent executives in a variety of commercial enterprises, as well as student-executive mixers, afford students ample networking opportunities. The MHB culminates in a customized internship, opening the first door to employment for many of its graduates.
