Stephen Finlay was granted tenure in Spring 2009, and is promoted to Associate Professor.
For the 2009-10 academic year, Gideon Yaffe has been awarded a
New Directions Fellowship from the Mellon Foundation. The fellowship will allow him to work on his project, "Criminal Choices, Criminal Brains".
Brian Talbot has accepted a job offer from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Shlomo Sher will be an Institute Fellow at the
Levan Institute of Humanities and Ethics at USC.
Scott Soames has been awarded a 2009 Raubenheimer Award for Excellence
in Research, Teaching, and Service.
Mark Schroeder has been awarded a 2009 General Education Teaching
Award.
Julia Staffel has been awarded a 2009 General Education
Graduate Assistant Award.
Other recent faculty winners are Stephen Finlay, Frank Lewis, Sharon Lloyd, and Gideon Yaffe.
