*Dean's Certificate or Letter: is a form that some law schools require in order to verify that you are in good standing at your undergraduate institution. First, find out if the law school you are interested in applying to requires a Dean's Certificate as a part of its J.D. application process. If a Dean's Certificate is required, you can generally download the form off of that law school's website. Once you download the form, print it out and take it to USC's Office of the Vice-President for Student Affairs (STU 201) along with postage and a pre-addressed envelope. The Vice-President for Student Affairs will only fill out the forms - they will not write letters on behalf of students.
If you need to contact the Office of the Vice-President for Student Affairs (STU 201), please call (213) 740-2421.
