Message from the Initiative Chairman

As chairman of the Tradition & Innovation fundraising initiative, I am pleased to share news that USC College recently had the most successful fundraising year in its history. The momentum and energy is so pronounced, I am confident that raising $400 million by 2010 is well within our reach. In fact, we are already half way towards achieving our goal.
Initiative Update
The newly created USC Norman Levan Institute for Humanities and Ethics provides a forum in which students can explore different modes of thinking and responding to the world.
Nurturing Tomorrow’s Leaders
A $2 million endowed gift to the Unruh Institute of Politics will support more student internships and scholarships.
State-of-the-art life sciences building is named in honor of alumnus and USC Trustee.
Ray R. Irani Hall will be home to groundbreaking research in molecular and computational biology.
