CONFERENCE

The Obama Presidency - An Early Progress Report

Wednesday, April 15th at the USC Davidson Conference Center

This one-day conference will examine the first months of the Obama Administration.  The event is co-sponsored by the California Chamber of Commerce Public Affairs Council, the Center for American Progress Action Fund (a think tank dedicated to improving the lives of Americans through ideas and action), Declare Yourself (a nonpartisan youth voter registration and empowerment organization dedicated to national service and activism), Gen Next (a bipartisan organization of young entrepreneurs and executives dedicated to policy reform and issue advancement), HealthNet (a Southern California-based health care provider), POLITICO, the USC Department of Political Science, and the USC Political Student Assembly.


Panels will be co-moderated by Jonathan Martin, White House Correspondent for POLITICO, Mike Allen, Chief Political Correspondent for POLITICO, and Dan Schnur, Director of the USC Unruh Institute of Politics.
