The 2010 Sacramento Legislative Seminar
 |
The Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics invites you to participate in the 2010 Sacramento Legislative Seminar to be held Sunday, February 28th through Tuesday, March 2nd. The seminar is sponsored by the Unruh Institute in conjunction with several other California colleges and universities to provide students the opportunity to meet the executive and legislative leaders who shape the laws and policies of the state. Seminar panels include members of the Senate and the Assembly, lobbyists, reporters, and legislative and executive branch staff. In addition to asking these panel members questions, a reception in the Capitol rotunda on Monday evening provides a chance to interact informally with legislators and their staff.

In addition to the application form, students applying for the 2009 Sacramento Legislative Seminar will be asked to submit an unofficial transcript, a letter of recommendation from a professor, and answers to two essay questions listed within the application.
