Danielle Bennett
|
Danielle Bennett is a senior majoring in Political Science, minoring in Spanish. She has been working at the Institute since August 2007 doing graphic design and event promotion. She also currently serves as the President of the USC Helenes, an all-female service organization and the University's Official Hostesses. Although she originally hails from Northern Virginia, she plans on staying in Los Angeles after graduation and hopefully participating in Teach for America or working in public affairs.

Clare Doody
|
Clare Doody is a senior majoring in American Studies, minoring in Political Science. She joined the Unruh Institute this fall. Clare served as political director for Students for Barack Obama during Fall 2008, and she spent the Spring of 2009 in Washington D.C. through USC's Semester in Washington Program. Upon graduation, Clare hopes to work on a campaign in the 2010 election cycle and then as a congressional aide before eventually attending law school.

Andrenna Hidalgo |
Andrenna Hidalgo is a junior majoring in Political Science with a minor in Communications Law and Media Policy. She was a recipient of the 2009 Diana Chudacoff Levin Scholarship and used her award to do Immigration Advocacy work at Catholic Charities of New York. She also serves on USC’s Undergraduate Student Government as the Assistant Director of Diversity Affairs and is a Diversity Recruitment Leader for the Office of Admissions. Upon graduation, Andrenna hopes to either go to law school or participate in Teach for America.

Hillary Levi |
Hillary Levi is a junior majoring in Film & Television Production. She has been working at the Institute since January 2009. She is also currently serves as the Co-President of Delta Kappa Alpha Cinema Fraternity and News Director for KSCR Radio. Though heavily involved in film, she has not forgotten her love of politics, especially in the realm of education reform. Hillary hails from Kennesaw, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta, and plans on staying in the Los Angeles area after graduation to pursue a career in the film industry.

Bret VandenBos |
Bret VandenBos is a senior majoring in Writing for Fim and Television. Prior to his start at the Unruh Institute in the Spring of 2008, Bret was the President of USC Students for Barack Obama. He plans to remain in the Los Angeles area after graduation and pursue a career in Television.

Adam Weissman |
Adam Weissman is a senior majoring in Writing for Screen and Television. He first became acquainted with the Unruh Institute of Politics during the election of 2008, in which he served as Los Angeles Regional Field Organizer for Students for Barack Obama. Adam has also worked in local politics as an intern/speechwriter for Los Angeles City Council President Eric Garcetti. He is very excited to be working for the Unruh Institute of Politics, helping foster bi-partisan and non-partisan engagement and dialogue on campus. When not working on political issues, Adam spends his time writing television teen dramas and feature film historical dramas.
