Internship Brings Cambodian Colleagues to the InstituteMay 29, 2009This spring, three staff members from the Documentation Center of Cambodia (DC-Cam) visited the Institute to participate in a three-month internship program to support DC-Cam’s ongoing effort to collect testimony from survivors of the genocide perpetrated in Cambodia by the Khmer Rouge regime, which claimed as many as two million lives.
Survivors’ Testimonies at the Illinois Holocaust MuseumMay 29, 2009On April 19, the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center celebrated its grand opening in Skokie, Illinois. A project of the Holocaust Memorial Foundation of Illinois, the new museum is the largest and most advanced center in the Midwest dedicated to teaching the history and universal lessons of the Holocaust.
